Bolt app fixes · fixed price
Fix your Bolt app.
Bolt is fast until the app has to live outside the preview. Then the build fails, logins stop working, or each new prompt costs tokens and breaks something else. I read the code it wrote, find what's actually wrong, and give you a fixed price per problem before any work starts.
Bolt apps run in your browser while you build, usually as React + Vite (sometimes Next.js), often with Supabase behind them and Netlify for hosting. A real host is less forgiving than the preview. That gap is most of what I fix.
Common problems
What usually goes wrong.
It works in the Bolt preview but the deploy fails
The preview tolerates things a real build doesn't: type errors, missing environment variables, a different Node version, packages that only resolved by luck. The build log says which; the fix is usually small once someone reads it.
Login works in the preview but not on my domain
The auth provider (usually Supabase) is still set up for the preview address. Your real domain has to be on the redirect list, or sign-in and confirmation links go nowhere.
I'm burning tokens and every fix breaks something else
The prompt loop. Each change is made without the whole app in view. Reading the code end to end usually turns many symptoms into two or three root causes, fixed once.
Data doesn't save, or shows up for the wrong user
Database rules that are missing, too strict or too loose. Too strict and saves fail quietly; too loose and users can read each other's data.
It won't run after I download it
The project depended on the Bolt environment: missing scripts, unpinned packages or settings that only existed there. It needs a clean setup that runs on any machine and any host.
Payments go through but nothing happens after
The payment webhook isn't set up, isn't verified, or can't write to the database. The customer pays; your app never finds out.
It looks fine on desktop and falls apart on phones
Layouts tuned to the preview window: fixed widths, overflowing tables, modals that can't scroll, forms hidden behind the keyboard.
Something else? Most problems don’t fit a list. Describe it in two lines and I’ll tell you whether I can fix it.
Price
Fixed before anything starts.
Diagnosis
You send the repo and what's broken. I read the code and send back a written list: what's broken, how serious, and a fixed price per item.
$249
credited to the fix
Delivery: 48 hours
Fix pack
Broken auth, failed deploys, forms that don't submit, layouts that fall apart on mobile, features the AI left half-done. Moving to a new host counts as an item.
from $750
items quoted after diagnosis
Delivery: 2–5 days
The diagnosis fee is credited against the fix (minimum fix order $750), and refunded in full if nothing is worth fixing.
- 01
Tell me what you need
Two lines on what the app should do, or what's broken, plus a link to the code if there is any.
- 02
A fixed price in writing
New builds get a written scope and price. Existing apps get a $249 diagnosis in 48 hours: each problem, how serious, and a price to fix it.
- 03
You pick what to do
A deposit for the items you choose: 50%, or 30% on longer jobs paid by milestone. The diagnosis fee is credited.
- 04
Built, then handed over
A preview link to check first. The balance on handoff, and the code is yours.
Questions
About Bolt fixes.
Can I keep building in Bolt after you fix it?
Yes, if you want to. I'll work in a GitHub repo you own and tell you which parts are fragile, so the next prompt doesn't undo the fix. Many owners move to their own repo and host at this point; I can set that up as one item.
What do you need from me for the diagnosis?
The code (a GitHub repo, or the downloaded project), a few lines on what's broken, and the live or preview link if there is one.
Should I fix it or rebuild it?
Most Bolt apps are worth fixing. The diagnosis says which, in writing. If a rebuild would be cheaper, I'll say so and price it.
Will you sign an NDA before seeing my code?
Yes. Send yours and I'll sign it before I see the repo. Your app and your name stay private.

Guides
Try it yourself first.
- Login works in the preview but fails on your domain
Supabase only sends people back to addresses it has been told to trust. Move to your own domain without telling it, and confirmation links, password resets and Google sign-in all land somewhere else.
- Is my Supabase data public? How to check in 10 minutes
Apps built with Lovable, Bolt and similar tools talk to Supabase straight from the browser. That's normal, but it means one setting decides whether a stranger can read your users' data.
Send me your Bolt app.
Two lines and a repo link. I reply within 24 hours (Mon–Sat) with the $249 diagnosis invoice, or tell you straight away if it isn't something I can do well.
